SPK Foundation Launched in New Delhi to Carry Forward a Legacy of Service


New Delhi, September 11, 2025  :  The capital witnessed a gathering of eminent leaders, legal luminaries, and social activists for the launch of the SPK Foundation, an institution dedicated to legal aid, child education, and organ donation awareness. The foundation has been established in the cherished memory of Late Shri Pankaj Kalia, who served as Director in the Government of India for nearly four decades and was widely respected for his integrity and public service.


The launch ceremony, held at the Indian International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, was marked by an atmosphere of reverence and inspiration. Guests described the event as a true tribute to a man who embodied honesty, accountability, and compassion throughout his career.

Distinguished Gathering The occasion was graced by the presence of several influential dignitaries, including:


- Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Yoga Guru and Advisor to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Padma Shri awardee,
and Chancellor of S-VYASA University.

- Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati, two-time Member of Parliament.
- Sr. Adv. N. Hariharan, President of the Delhi High Court Bar Association.

The evening was further elevated by the attendance of many other influential dignitaries from law, politics, healthcare, education, and social service. Messages of Inspiration
The ceremony included cultural performances and powerful reflections from the guests of honor.

Service to humanity is the highest form of yoga,  said Dr. H.R. Nagendra, urging citizens to combine inner growth with public service.


Sr. Adv. Chetan Sharma emphasized the importance of providing legal support to marginalized communities, while Sr. Adv. N. Hariharan spoke of ensuring that justice remains accessible to all. Mrs. Rekha Rani highlighted women and child empowerment as a cornerstone of nation-building, and Dr. Saumitra Rawat with Mrs. Sonia Rawat underlined the urgency of organ donation awareness.

Dr. H.N. Sharma reminded the gathering that institutions rooted in service are essential for a just and equitable society. Hosted and Inaugurated with Love The event was graciously hosted by Mrs. Sarita Kalia, Mrs. Divya Bansal, Shri Sahil Bansal, and Advocate Parth Kalia.
They were joined by Shri Deepak Choudhary, Shri Arnav Singh, Shri Chiranshu Sharma, and Shri Chaman Lal. In a moving gesture, the foundation was inaugurated by Shri Armaan Bansal, the beloved grandson of Late Shri Pankaj Kalia, symbolizing the passing of values to the younger generation.
