Kundapura, Karnataka: V Gautham Navada, Founder and Director of ForthFocus, has joined the organizing team of WordCamp Bengaluru 2026, marking another milestone in a WordPress journey that began in 2011.
WordCamp
Bengaluru 2026 will be held on November 21 and 22, 2026, at St. Joseph’s
Boys’ High School, Museum Road, Bengaluru. The community-run, not-for-profit
event is being organized entirely by volunteers and is expected to bring
together around 400 participants from the WordPress and open web
ecosystem.
Navada is
part of the 16-member organizing team behind the 2026 edition. His involvement
follows his role on the Sponsor Team of WordCamp Asia 2026, held in
Mumbai earlier this year. While the two events differ in scale, the progression
reflects his continued involvement in the WordPress community, from
contributing to a major regional event to helping organize a community
gathering closer home in Karnataka.
A WordPress journey that began in 2011
Navada
first began exploring WordPress through blogging in 2011. His interest in web
publishing gradually developed into freelance web development and later
entrepreneurship.
In 2015, he
founded ForthFocus, a digital solutions company based in Kundapura,
Karnataka.
The company
has since grown to serve more than 350 clients across eight countries,
working across WordPress, WooCommerce, eCommerce, business websites and custom
digital solutions.
Alongside
building ForthFocus, Navada has remained active in the WordPress ecosystem
through community participation, speaking, organizing, and open source
contribution.
What began
as using WordPress for publishing eventually evolved into building professionally
with the platform and contributing time and experience back to the community
around it.
Regularly invited speaker at technology and business
forums
Navada is
also a regularly invited speaker at WordCamps, educational institutions,
technology events, and industry forums.
His
sessions have covered subjects including WordPress, digital privacy, remote
team management, entrepreneurship, sustainable business and long-term digital
growth.
His
speaking engagements draw from more than a decade of experience in technology,
entrepreneurship and managing distributed teams, often exploring the
intersection of technology, people and business rather than technology in
isolation.
Travel and Millennial Duo
Outside
technology, Navada is an avid traveller. Together with his wife, Mrs. Keerthi
Prabhu, a software testing professional, he runs Millennial Duo® (https://millennialduo.com), where the couple documents their travel
experiences and practical destination insights.
They have
travelled to 15 countries and counting and have also shared a WordCamp
stage together, combining perspectives from web development and software
testing.
WordCamp Bengaluru 2026 to bring together around 400
participants
WordCamp
Bengaluru 2026 is positioned as Bengaluru’s own gathering for people who use,
build and contribute around WordPress and the open web.
The event
will feature two tracks and a Contributor Day, bringing together
developers, designers, founders, agencies, content creators, students,
educators and open source contributors.
The two day
programme will include talks, discussions, practical sessions and opportunities
for attendees to contribute directly to the WordPress open source project.
With
approximately 400 participants expected, the event aims to create a platform
for learning, collaboration and strengthening connections across Bengaluru and
India’s WordPress community.
For Navada,
becoming part of the organizing team represents another opportunity to
contribute to an ecosystem closely connected with his professional journey.
“WordPress
played an important role in shaping my professional journey. Contributing time
and experience back to the community is a natural continuation of that
relationship,” said V Gautham Navada.
His
involvement in WordCamp Asia and WordCamp Bengaluru during the same year
reflects a journey that has evolved from discovering WordPress as a blogger, to
building a digital business around the web, speaking at community events and
now helping organize WordCamps at both regional and local levels.
