Malayalam spectacle transcends boundaries as Dharma Productions, Mythri Movie
Makers, PVR INOX, Wayfarer Films, and T Series join forces.
Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies, mounted by Reel World Entertainment, has now
become a full-blown industry event. Backed by some of India’s most influential
banners and distributors- Dharma Productions, Mythri Movie Makers, PVR INOX,
and Wayfarer Films - the film marks a historic collaborative moment for
Malayalam cinema, with The Plot Pictures extending the film’s reach
internationally.
The project is powered by Creative
Producer Shihan Shoukath who also serves as the producer alongside Ritesh and
Ramesh S.Ramakrishnan, together forming the founding team behind Reel World
Entertainment.
What began as a fiery Malayalam story
rooted in Kerala’s street energy and the charisma of wrestling culture has now
evolved into a cinematic phenomenon; the one that’s breaking language barriers
and reimagining the scale of Malayalam cinema. After its electrifying teaser
set social media ablaze which was praised for its raw, kinetic visuals has now
evolved into one of the country’s most hotly anticipated releases.
The teaser, full of grit, colour, and
unfiltered energy, has already travelled far beyond Malayalam-speaking
audiences. Released simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and
Kannada, it found traction across languages within hours of its drop, sparking
discussion among film circles across India.
What followed the film’s roaring teaser
was a wave of powerhouse alliances that now define its journey to release.
Backing the film is an unprecedented line-up of heavyweights.
Dharma Productions, one of India’s most
celebrated banners, takes charge of the Hindi-speaking markets, marking its
first major association with Malayalam cinema. Mythri Movie Makers, the
powerhouse behind Pushpa, drives distribution across Andhra and Telangana,
while PVR INOX Pictures, India’s biggest multiplex distributor, extends its
reach to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. In Kerala, Wayfarer Films, Dulquer Salmaan’s
banner known for championing dynamic, new-age content, steers the home-ground
release. And beyond borders, The Plot Pictures takes Chatha Pacha global, charting an international release in over 100 countries. Now,
with India’s most powerful production houses rallying behind it, the film’s
trajectory looks nothing short of explosive.
The project also marks the Malayalam
debut of the legendary composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, which has already
become a talking point. The music rights rest with T-Series, adding musical
firepower to the already star-studded project.
The film stars Arjun Ashokan, Roshan
Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath, each bringing explosive energy to the
