Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to approve a tech-enabled housing rehabilitation
blueprint that can unlock ₹5,200 crore of unsold urban inventory in Uttarakhand
over five years, generate 15.8 lakh livelihoods, and deliver over ₹300 crore in
fiscal revenues through stamp duties and registrations.

Aawas Yojana anticipates ₹174 crore in platform revenues from Uttarakhand

crossing into unicorn territory, positioning Uttarakhand as a beacon of India’s
proptech future.
Call for Government Integration
In its proposal, Aawas Yojana has also stepped forward to seek government integration for select housing units under MDDA (Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority) and HRDA (Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority). These pilot projects will serve as proof-of-concept for:
● Urban rehabilitation of idle housing stock
● Escrow-verified digital housing transactions
● AI-powered transparent allotments
● Employment generation in construction-linked services
