India : ODM Educational Group celebrated the
11th International Day of Yoga
across all its campuses with a shared vision of promoting holistic wellness
under the global theme “Yoga for One
World, One Health.” With enthusiastic student participation and expert-led
sessions, the observance highlighted the transformative role of yoga in
education and daily life.
At ODM Public School, Bhubaneswar, the celebration began with an
inspiring address by Chairman Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, who reflected on yoga
as a pathway to inner strength and societal harmony. The session was led by the
Brahma Kumaris, who conducted calming meditation and guided students and staff
through energising yoga postures.
At ODM Global School, Bhubaneswar, students of Grades VI and XI participated in a
dynamic yoga session led by Miss Sabita Mohapatra, a Yoga Siromani Awardee, who
emphasised yoga’s benefits in building emotional balance and mental clarity.
Principal Mr. Subrat Kumar Sarangi addressed the gathering, emphasising the
need to integrate yoga into holistic education.
ODM International School, Angul, held a well-curated morning assembly featuring speeches,
thought-sharing, and a yoga demonstration led by Mr Dusmant Kumar Nath with
co-academic faculty support. Principal Mr Kalinga Rudra Panda encouraged
regular yoga practice for a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
Meanwhile, at ODM International School, Durgapur,
students performed asanas such as Surya Namaskar, Trikonasana, and Pranayama,
guided by the Sports Department. Yoga Guru Mr Mrityunjay Swarnakar shared
valuable insights, while Principal Mr Ajay Chouhan highlighted yoga’s role in
fostering discipline and harmony.
Reflecting on the
occasion, Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan,
