New Delhi/India : The IPF Bihar Council successfully organized a grand celebration of Bihar Diwas at Hotel Crystal Plaza, Sharjah, bringing together more than huge number of attendees, primarily from the Bihari diaspora in the UAE. The event was a vibrant tribute to Bihar’s glorious heritage, culture, and contributions to India and the world.
The celebration was graced by eminent speakers, including Shri RK Mahto,
Convenor of IPF Bihar Council and NRI Industralits, Shri Manish Sinha, Convenor
of BJP Bihar NRI Cell, Smt. Shilpa Nair – Vice President from the IPF Central
Committee, and Honbl. Mrs. Sultana Farooq Kazim, an Emirati international
social activist, who delivered inspiring speeches emphasizing Bihar’s
historical significance, socio-economic progress, and the crucial role of the
diaspora in fostering global connections for Bihar’s development.
A major highlight of the event was the cultural performance by the
Kalaranjani Group, which captivated the audience with soul-stirring renditions
of Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Magahi folk songs. Their performances showcased the
rich musical traditions of Bihar, evoking nostalgia and pride among attendees.
Several distinguished political leaders from Bihar shared their
heartfelt video messages on line acknowledging the contributions of Bihar and
its people. Messages were received from Shri Samrat Chaudhary -Dy CM &
Finance Minister, Govt. of Bihar, Shri Nitin Navin -Minister of Road
Construction Govt of Bihar, Shri Dilip Jaisawal – President BJP Bihar Unit,
Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad -Ex Union Minister Govt of India and Member of
Parliament, Shri Ashwini Kumar Chaubey-Ex Union Minister, Govt. of India, Dr.
Sanjay Jaisawal Member of Parliament, Shri Janardan Sikriwal-Member of
Parliament and Ms. Chandan Tiwari-Popular Singer, all of whom extended their
best wishes to the Bihari diaspora and appreciated the efforts of the IPF Bihar
Council in keeping Bihar’s legacy alive abroad.
The core team of IPF Bihar Council, comprising Shri Sanjeet Jha, Shri

Bihari Diaspora discussed in length the future development of Bihar and the
role and responsibilities of Bihari NRIs
The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to
all the attendees, speakers, performers, and organizers for their unwavering
support and enthusiasm. A networking dinner followed, where guests enjoyed
traditional delicacies while engaging in meaningful conversations, further
strengthening their bond with their homeland.
