proudly inaugurated the 32nd Property and Home Finance Expo, “Mall of Homes,”
at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai witnessing a remarkable footfall of over 14000 people. The grand opening, marked by a ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremony
by Mr. Bhushan Gagrani (IAS) Municipal Commissioner (BMC) Mumbai and Mr. Vivek
Phansalkar [I.P.S.], Mumbai Police Commissioner alongside esteemed dignitaries,
set the stage for this transformative three-day event.
The inaugural session included a welcome address by the Convenor and
President of CREDAI-MCHI, who highlighted the expo’s ambitious theme, “Book
Your Home in 10 Minutes,” aiming to simplify and revolutionize the home-buying
experience.
Delivering the keynote address, Bhushan Gagrani IAS, Municipal
Commissioner (BMC) Mumbai said, “Investment in infrastructure is critical,
but its impact hinges on the response from the private sector. I am heartened
to see industries like real estate introducing innovative schemes and
compliance frameworks that complement public sector efforts. These investments
are not only shaping infrastructure but also fulfilling the aspirations of
every individual who dreams of owning a home. By treating every stakeholder as
a partner in the development process, we can ensure housing opportunities reach
even the last-mile customer.”
Mr. Vivek Phansalkar [I.P.S.], Commissioner of Police, Mumbai mentioned, “Owning a home is one of the most cherished aspirations for

Adding his perspective, Mr. Boman Irani, President of CREDAI National,

Focus on Empowering Women Homebuyers CREDAI-MCHI announced additional
discounts for women homebuyers as part of its Stree Awas Yojna, offering up to
₹2 lakhs in savings, encouraging more women to take the step toward home
ownership. This initiative, combined with offers from participating developers,
reflects the organization’s commitment to inclusivity in the real estate
sector.

Celebrating Industry Leaders and Innovations CREDAI-MCHI unveiled
AMBASSADOR DAY, celebrating the pivotal role of channel partners in driving
sales and fostering growth. Over 1,000 channel partners from the Mumbai
Metropolitan Region (MMR) attended, highlighting their contributions to the
industry’s progress.
Keynote addresses from Shri. Domnic Romell, Shri. Boman Irani, and Smt.
Arti Harbhajanka, Co-Founder & MD, Premus Partners set the tone for the
day, emphasizing collaboration and innovation. The event also saw the launch of
the MMR Broking Market CY’24 Analysis Report and a presentation by Abhishek
Kiran Gupta of CRE Matrix.
A panel discussion titled “Transforming Real Estate Transactions in
2025,” moderated by Mr. Rushi Mehta, brought together stalwarts such as Gautam
Chatterjee (IAS retd.) Founder Chairman of MahaRERA, Dhaval Ajmera, Secretary
of CREDAI-MCHI, Manan Shah, Managing Director, MICL, and Harmohan H Sahni, Executive
Director & CEO, Realty Business, Raymond Limited who provided valuable
insights into the future of the industry.
The day concluded with the CREDAI-MCHI Ambassador Awards 2025,
recognizing excellence across categories like Top Deal Maker, Luxury Realtor,
and Real Estate Influencer of the Year. Shri. Haresh Sanghavi was honored with
the Lifetime Achievement Ratna Award for his inspiring contributions to the
sector. The first Chairman of MahaRERA Shri Gautam Chaterjee felicitated Mr.
Sanghavi for his contributions towards the housing sector.
